From the folklore of the ancient Egyptians and inherited so far, “Sebwa” born
It is an ancient Egyptian custom: "the day of the week."
One of the customs in Egypt is the celebration on the seventh day of a child's birth. Egyptian customs require that a big celebration be held on this day.
As for the historical origin of the celebration, it goes back to the ancient Egyptians’ belief that a child’s sense of hearing begins on the seventh day of his birth, so they make noises near his ears, so that this sense works well.
And they hang a "ring of gold" in his ear, which is the ring of "Isis" or "Horus" and ask him to obey the god
That would be the first thing his ears would hear, then they would pray to God to protect the newborn and grant him a long life.
This celebration is thousands of years old, and it is still held in every Egyptian house, and of course many non-Egyptian rituals have added to it, including the Islamic ruqyah, which is one of their gains from the Islamic religion, in addition to some Bedouin customs such as the passing of the mother over the child
